Product Template

The product template tab contains 12 subtabs

Product master wizards

1. Product master wizards are used to make templates where it will be pulled into to create products further in the product catalog, where it works like if someone wants information the user can look into a template for specific product information if the user doesn’t know about the product.
2. If the user wants to search for the product user can search by using the following way for example if they want to search for flat products in cold rolled coil

          The user has to use the following way

Example 1)

Select Group ------Steel

Select subgroup  ------Products

Select Category   -------- Flat Products

Select sub-category ----------Cold rolled coils (CR)

if the user wants to search products for blast furnaces if know about the product’s user can use the search bar

Product master wizards:- How to add a template ?

• Click on the product master tab shown in the below screenshot of the panel.

• It will open a tab shown below

Procedure to add template:-

Product info tab:-

• Type name of the product – 

• Write a short description of the product-

• Select the group- The group is common which is steel

• Select the subgroup – Subgroup has 5 category 
• Consumable:- consists of which item is used on a daily basis like electrode

Equipment:- It consists of which equipment is most used in steel plants a motor is the basic equipment used most of the time in steel plants for rolling operation

Plants:- plants have a different categories like pltcm/blast furnace/electric are furnace /induction furnace /hot rolling mill/cold rolling mill/ASU/coke oven plant

Product-: Product consists of finished or semi-finished products like FLAT/LONG/SEMIS ex. Coils, billets, blooms, TMT bar, wire rod, rails, etc.

Raw Materials- Raw Materials are the most used in steel plants like coal, pellet, lumps, iron ore, scrap, ferrochrome, dolomite, etc

1. Sub-group-: we selected raw materials  

2. Category-: we selected the category pellet as we can its not a star mark so its upto that template if its falls under its category we need to select it or else don’t select it

3. Sub-category-: if the further sub-category is defined then select as per the procedure or else don’t select it.      

1. Type-: It contains 4 types  

Compounds-

Finish goods- Ex. TMT BARS

Raw materials – Coal, pellet

Semi-finished goods- coils

Select between as per above its condtions

2. Is Tax Applicable-: if tax is applicable select yes if not then select no

3. Tax-: as per law  different country has different tax type our company is registered in India then we will select gst

Or else we select accordingly.

4. Tax Percentage-: tax percentage can be vary time to time 

So we need to add tax percentages also for gst its 18% now 

1. Hsn code-: every product has its unique hsn code 

For TMT bar -: 72141 (Harmonized System of Nomenclature)

2. Picture-: Every product has a picture so we need to upload the picture in WEBP form and try removing the background for it used to remove.bg website picture quality should be good enough to upload 

3. Active-: select status active if want to add the product to the website if not then select inactive

after that go to the next tab 

Full description:- Enter the full description of the product then save it button lower right-side corner 

Specification:- Enter the full Specification of the product then save it button lower right-side corner

Highlight:- Then save it button lower right-side corner

SEO-: Seo contains (Meta Title / Meta Keywords/ Meta    Description ) then save it button lower right-side corner

PRODUCT ATTRIBUTION:- 

The most important part of the entire template section is how to add attribution we can add it manually or we can make it on Excel 

For example, there are attributes of mould system

The heading of the table 

NAME -TYPE -UNIT-DVALUE-DESCRIPTION-HDR-ORD (note no space is allowed in their column like after typing   Name 

No space is allowed after typing data in columns like after typing volt in the name column no space should be given

Product Defination Wizard: Need to be confirmed 

Group: we can define group from the group tab

To create a group, fill in the necessary details and click on "submit" button.

Subgroup: we can create multiple subgroups under the group which steel ,Click on right side corner subgroup button a window will open

The user has to type the name select the group id the user wants to display on the e-com portal select yes or else no display order as per the sheet created by the user select status active upload the picture of the subgroup (in WEBP format) click to submit it will appear in panel.

CATEGORY: category comes under the subgroup user can see below screenshot group is steel subgroup steel making category is carob plant (Note- hierarchy is already defined don’t change it kindly confirmed with the expert) 

Subcategory: - Subcategory 1 will come under the subcategory tab

For example, the CASOB-OB unit comes under the category CASOB-SM and its subgroup is STEEL M and its group is STEEL  

Note please check the excel sheet for the hierarchy.

CUSTOMIZED GROUP: - In a customized group Subcategory 2,3 & 4…n

Can be defined it comes under subcategory 1

For example 

Subcategory 1 is CASOB-OB UNIT as we can see above in the subcategory 1 screenshot if we want to define subcategory 2 then click the customized group icon shown in the right side corner then click the subcategory check box shown in the screenshots

if the user wants to create subcategory 3, the User needs to pull subcategory 2 by clicking the check drop-down box provided in below sttttttttt

HSN CODE UPDATE -: We can search the HSN Code from here as well as we can update the same with their tax percentage

Type:-  When adding a product, if additional types are needed they can be added through the 'Type'. section during the creation process.

Unit:-

For adding a field for a specifying the quantity or units of a product in a product details page 

Attribute Type:-

User have the ability to incorporate various types of attributes through the use of this 'Attribute type'

Transfer Rate Module: -

Transfer Rate Module contains the type of payment system the buyer/customer/vendor want to select we can define the payment terms here then upload the required documents and click submit icon.
