Categories Management in Workspace

Overview:

The Categories View page allows users to manage categories within their workspace. Superadmin can create new categories, view existing ones, edit category details, and navigate through category hierarchies.

Navigation:

1. Go to Workspace > Categories

Categories View:

• The Categories View page presents a table with category details including Category ID, Name, Description, and Action buttons.
• Users can search for specific categories using the search bar.
• Sorting options are available for the Category Name.
• Users can create new categories or import categories from external sources.
• Action buttons allow users to edit category details or view categories in more detail.

How to Use:

Viewing Categories:

1. Navigate to Workspace > Categories.
2. Browse through the list of categories displayed in the table.
3. Use the search bar to find specific categories by name.
4. Click on the Action buttons to edit category details or view categories in more detail.

Creating a New Category:

1. On the Categories View page, click the "Create Category" button.
2. Fill out the required fields in the Create Category Modal:
   • Enter the Category Name.
   • Provide a Description for the category.
3. Click the "Create" button to add the new category.

Editing a Category:

1. On the Categories View page, click the edit icon next to the category you want to edit.
2. The Edit Category Modal will open with the selected category details pre-filled.
3. Modify the Category Name or Description as needed.
4. Click the "Create" button to save the changes.

Importing Categories:

1. On the Categories View page, if available, click the "Import Category" button.
2. Follow the prompts to import categories from external sources.
3. Categories will be added to the workspace upon successful import.
