1. Introduction:
This document outlines the process and functionalities of managing tasks within the Technical Specification workspace, including task details, user interactions, and revision management.
2. Task Details Display:
The Technical Specification workspace displays the following task details:
TaskId: Unique identifier for the task.
Title: Brief description of the task.
Start Date: Start date set by the KAM (Key Account Manager).
End Date: End date set by the KAM.
E/C Date (Expected Completion Date): Date expected by the KAM.
Status: Current status of the task (e.g., In Progress, Done).
Assigned to: User assigned to the task. Clicking on the user's name or image redirects to their profile.
Label: Priority label set by the KAM (e.g., High, Medium, Low).
3. User Interaction:
Users can only change the following task attributes:
Status: Users can update the status of the task (e.g., change from In Progress to Done).
Users cannot modify the Start Date, End Date, or Label, as these are set by the KAM.
4. Revision Management:
Users can access revisions assigned by the KAM by clicking on the CTA (Call to Action) button.
Revisions contain three tabs: Specification, Attributes, and Documents.
Specification: Users can add detailed information using a rich text editor.
Attributes: Users can add, modify, or delete attributes, including attribute name, type (technical, general), unit, value type (number, text, date, boolean, range), expected answer, remarks, and additional rows/columns.
Documents: Users can upload documents, including normal and confidential documents.
Users can download revisions and save them locally.
5. Revision Copy Creation:
Users must first create a copy of the revision before making any modifications.
The copied revision serves as a working duplicate for users to update and save changes.
Users can communicate with KAM via chats for any clarification or updates related to the task or revision.
Revision Editing and Saving:
Users can update and save changes to the revision.
Additionally, users have the option to "Save As" to create a new version of the revision while retaining the original.
Revision Approval Process:
Upon completion of the work, users can send the revision to the KAM for approval by clicking the "Send Approval" button.
Users have the option to rename the revision before sending it for approval.
Users can also duplicate the revision for further iterations or delete it if necessary.
